Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has claimed that he was misquoted by Dutch paper De Telegraaf, which reported that Wozniak had said Android is better than iOS.
It had been reported that Woznaik told the Dutch daily that Android was better than iOS simply because it had more features.
Tech blog Engadget now says that Wozniak has spoken out, saying he was misquoted by the Dutch daily in a phone call to the news site. He stated that he would "never" say that Android was better than iOS.
Wozniak said that, based on what he had read in the papers, Android will become a very popular operating system, but also added: “Almost every app I have is better on the iPhone.”
Wozniak however expected Google's mobile OS “to be a lot like Windows... I'm not trying to put Android down, but I'm not suggesting it's better than iOS by any stretch of the imagination. But it can get greater market share and still be crappy."
