As promised, we have had a look at Apple's Black Friday sales items and we noticed some interesting trends and some great and not so great bargains. Firstly, you need to know that not all Apple devices are included in the sale; the smaller 11-inch Macbook Air, the iPhone 4, the Mac Pro, the Mac Mini, the normal MacBook, the Apple TV, the iPod Shuffle and the iPod Classic are all excluded.

Microsoft is set to offer free access to Xbox Live Gold to all Xbox owners in the US and the UK over the Thanksgiving weekend. The move will allow non-gold subscribers to get their hands onexclusive Xbox content for the whole weekend.

A hacker has caused mass panic in Indonesia by posting a fake Tsunami warning from the hacked Twitter account of an Indonesian government disaster management official. Andi Arief, who is the disaster management advisor to Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, had his Twitter account hijacked by a hacker.

Sony Computer Entertainment has warned that there might be a shortage of PlayStation Move motion sensing gaming controllers for the upcoming holiday season. According to Venture Beat, Sony’s senior vice president of marketing in the US, Peter Dille, reported that stores are starting to run low on supplies of the Move controllers.
