Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet Drop To £424

Samsung should be worried at the rate at which its Galaxy tab tablet has been discounted as the GT-P1000 is now available from PC World for a mere £424, a price that includes free delivery and can be obtained by using the code 25POUND at checkout.

The Galaxy Tab was available for £529 on the 22nd of October, dropping to £490 on the 11th of November and £444 on the 15th of November.

Two weeks later, another £20 have been shaved off to £424 and as a reminder, the suggested retail price of the Smart Media device was a rather high £800. With recent cuts though, the tablet has been gradually becoming more popular and is now trending as the second most prchased tablet after the Apple iPad 16GB Wi-Fi only model.

The P1000 comes with a 7-inch 1024x600 pixel capacitive display, 512MB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, two cameras, Android OS 2.2 and includes the ability to make phone calls as well.

More than 600,000 Tabs have been sold already in the first month which in absolute terms is impressive but compares poorly with the iPad which sold more than one million over the same period.
