Microsoft Will Not Support Kinect Sex Games

Microsoft has made it clear that it will not support any adult content developed for its Kinetic device.

Adult entertainment company ThriXXX recently stated their intention to develop a range of 3D sex games, making use of all the Kinect's functions, for the Xbox 360.

Microsoft has reacted to the news by emphasising to IGN that the Xbox 360 is a "family friendly games and entertainment console and does not allow Adults Only (AO) content to be certified for use on its platform, and would not condone this type of game for Kinect."

There are already several demo videos available on YouTube showcasing the game's interface.

Thrixx intends to utilise full body interaction, which will be supported by voice commands to make the games more 'exciting' for users.

It is impossible to play games on an Xbox 360 without Microsoft’s approval certification, therefore it is unlikely that any games will appear on the platform any time soon. To get round this, ThriXXX may instead release its games using the recently developed PC hack for the Kinect.
