Lady Gaga has put her name to a flagship digital camera to be launched by Polaroid at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas on Thursday.
The camera brand announced its collaboration with the seemingly ubiquitous Pokerface pop starlet at last year's CES, and had originally planned to launch the product during 2010.
The device, nicknamed 'Grey', has been styled by the 'Haus of Gaga' during the singer's stint as Creative Director of Polaroid.
The 24-year-old singer is far from shy when it comes to taking advantage of commercial opportunities. The video for her hit single Bad Romance featured no fewer than eight product placements, including a gambling website, an HP laptop and a brand of Ukrainian vodka.
Gaga told reporters of the deal with Polaroid: "I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and as my father puts it, finally have a real job."
The company is offering fans a tantalising peek at the "next-generation instant experience" on its web site, and says a full announcement will be made at 3.30 PST on Thursday (11.30pm UK time).
Meanwhile, a tantalising peek at Lady Gaga's bum is here.
