Acer added the Liquid Mini to its growing family of Android smartphones at CES 2011, together with the BeTouch E210 smartphone.
The device measures only 110x58x13mm and weighs only 109g with a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM processor, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, a 3.2-inch 240x320 pixels capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi, 512MB RAM, DLNA compatibility, GPS, Bluetooth and even a radio.
Acer has bundled a 2GB microSD card (capacity up to 32GB) and the Liquid Mini will be available in five different colours together with a social network aggregator called Social Jogger.
Expect the phone to compete with the HTC Wildfire as well as the Orange San Francisco, the Sony Ericsson X10 mini and the X8.
The Liquid Mini will be launched in the UK on the 11th of April and is likely to appear on Expansys and other online e-retailers first.
