Mozilla has released its Firefox 4 Beta 9 web browser one month ahead of the planned launch of the full version in February.
In a blog post, the company announced that the new beta version comes with a faster start-up, enhanced bookmarking and smoother rendering of complex animations.
The upcoming web browser will come with a fresh new look and key design changes set to make web browsing a more pleasurable experience.
It is set to feature App Tabs and Panorama, designed to make browsing the web much smoother and easier, as well as HTML 5 and HD video support. The browser will be comparatively faster than previous versions.
Firefox 4 will also come integrated Firefox Sync, which allows users to continue to their web browsing from their desktops on smartphones. It is available for download on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux from Mozilla's site.
“Please continue to test Firefox 4 Beta on your favourite websites and report issues with anything from games, video and music to graphics and forms through the Feedback button on the browser. We want to hear how we can improve the features of Firefox 4 Beta and performance on specific sites,” the company said.
