PixelMator, a photo editing app available through Apple’s Mac App Store, has raked in $1 million in sales within 20 days.
The app, which is available for purchase from Apple’s newly launched Mac App Store, is retailing for a discounted price of $29.99. The app originally cost $59.99.
In a blog post, the company said: “What is even better is that the app is getting rave reviews on the Mac App Store (4.5 stars with over 275 ratings on the US store, 5 stars with over 128 ratings in the UK, and 4.5 stars with over 129 ratings in Germany).”
It is currently not known how much money the app was making before Apple launched the Mac App Store.
The company also took the opportunity to announce that a second version of the PixelMator app will be available for download soon.
According to SF Gate, the app is the fourth highest grossing offering on the US Mac App Store, with Apple apps Aperture, iPhoto, and Pages leading the way.
