Tax-avoiding telco Vodafone has announced that Google's Nexus S handset will soon be available from its outlets.
Built by Samsung and Google branded, the Nexus S will be the first handset sporting the tablet-enhanced Android platform known as Gingerbread.
It's already on sale contractless at The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy, but Vodafone is the first network to offer the beast. It will also be the first to offer a white one, since Apple can't seem to come up with a white iPhone 4.
Patrick Chomet, Vodafone’s Group Director of Terminals, described the Nexus S's coming as 'great news' but couldn't say when it would arrive.
According to DJ Lee, a Samsung marketeer, the Nexus S will deliver "stunning new features and user experiences".
The Nexus S "enables users to enjoy the latest mobile technology and faster multimedia content with an intuitive user experience," he burbled, but he also failed to say when.
