Exclusive : Samsung Nexus S GT-I9023 Goes On Sale In March 2011 In UK

Two UK retailers have quietly put a landing page for the Samsung GT-i9023 which landed at the FCC in the US back in January 2011, one month after the official launch of the Google Nexus S phone.

Both Morecomputers and Lambdatek list the GT-I9023FSAXEU for £408.60 and £406.50 respectively with the release date set to be on the 11th of March 2011.

Back in January, Engadget wrote that the phone will come with Android 2.4 (see video below), which according to a report published yesterday, may come as early as April.

The current Nexus S is known as the Samsung GT-i9020 which means that the new model is likely to have only a few minor differences.

The phone comes with a Samsung S5PC110 processor that combines a 1Ghz ARM Cortex A8-based Hummingbird CPU with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

It has 512MB DDR memory and 16GB onboard storage; other features include a 4-inch slightly curved glass Super AMOLED touchscreen, support for NFC, Android 2.3 Gingerbread but strangely enough no microSD card reader.
