What's more it packs a huge FWVGA 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with AF and flash, 8GB onboard memory, HD video recording, Android 2.3 Gingerbread., a 1500mAh battery and 400MB RAM.

Like all other new Sony Ericsson handsets, the Xperia Play comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 clocked at 1GHz and based on the Scorpion micro Architecture.
