Cloud based email security provider Spamina has partnered with In-Tuition Networks to offer its services in the UK from a London-based data centre.
The partnership will see Spamina offering public, private and hybrid cloud based email security solutions to UK businesses from a new In-Tuition Networks data centre.
In-Tuition Networks, a company which provides a cloud based email hosting service, will allow Spamina customers access to its cloud based hosting platform, which runs from a powerful tier 3 data centre. The company is also the official UK partner for VMware's Zimbra collaboration suite.
Spamina's strategic partnership with In-Tuition will let it satisfy the legal and security needs of its customers who want to store their sensitive data on local data centres.
“By appointing In-Tuition as our strategic partner for the UK we are addressing both the legal obligation of some organisations to hold data in the UK, and the legitimate concern of others as to where their data is stored,” Dan Power, UK country manager at Spamina, said in a statement.
“Whilst many of our customers understand the benefit of hosting services in the cloud there is also considerable peace of mind in knowing exactly where their email is being processed and stored,” Power said.
