iTunes at the ready, Apple has release version 4.3.1 of it mobile operating system for the holy trinity.
Don't get too exited, however. The point release includes the usual unspecified performance tweaks and security updates, fixes a graphics glitch in the 4th generation iPod Touch, resolves bugs relating to connecting to some cellular networks, fixes a flickering problem when connecting the Digital AV adapter with some TVs and improves authentication for unspecified enterprise web servers.
There's no sign of the rumoured improved battery life reported in some quarters but it's unlikely that Apple would admit that 4.3 was eating people's batteries and would have been included in the secretive 'performance' tweaks.
It's required for iPhones from the 3GS onwards, all iPads and iPod touches after the third generation.
