Tesco To Offer Cheapest iPad 2 Yet

Tesco has started to take orders for the iPad 2 starting from £389 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model using a £10 discount voucher which is valid across all the 12 stock keeping units.

The supermarket offers a £10 off voucher from Tesco Direct that is accompanied by 798 Tesco Clubcard points worth £7.98 when spent instore; customers who managed to buy the item were told that their order would be available for collection from the 28th of March.

As for PC World, it is offering a £10 "exclusive money off voucher" today and tomorrow when purchasing any tablet. The catch though is that you have to buy the tablet first to get the voucher and the money off can only be redeemed instore until the end of April and cannot be used against Apple branded products.

The launch of the iPad 2 in the UK has proved that the device still have a significant pull despite having some significant competition from the likes of the Motorola XOOM or the Samsung Galaxy Tab device.

Those who have purchased their tablets online have now been told that they might have to wait for up to four weeks in order to get their hands on the device, although we suspect this will be the worst case scenario.
