HTC Desire S arrives on Orange

Everywhere gets the Desire sequel, at 5pm today

Mobile phone network that’s one part of Everything Everywhere is now stocking the new HTC Desire S mobile phone, on a monthly contract for £35 a month.

HTC’s Desire S ships with a 3.7-inch 480x800 Super LCD touch screen and is driven by the Qualcomm new 1GHz Snapdragon  processor, with 1GB of internal storage and a 5 megapixel camera whilst running from the Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 plus the HTC Sense 2.1 overlay.

The Desire S is the replacement to the original Desire handset from last year. The High Tech Computer Corporation new mobile phone was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, amongst half a dozen other new devices.

Orange is carrying the HTC Desire S on one of their £35 a month tariffs, with 700 minutes, an unlimited text and email package along with a 500MB data allowance.

One Mobile Ring caught up with the HTC Desire S at MWC this year, where we published a hands-on video walk-though of the handset here and a hands-on walk-through in pictures here and an initial thoughts review here.
