Nokia releases new colour for N8 handset

with updated OS

Finnish fone maker Nokia has unveiled a new colour for their flagship N8 mobile phone in hot pink, along with the updated Symbian^3 code-name Anna OS.

Nokia N8 still has the familiar 3.5-inch AMOLED screen and is accompanied by a 12 megapixel camera, with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and is capable of 720p HD video recording plus editing with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound – only now in the optional hot pink case.

The phone also has the same HDMI port, albeit in the form of a micro HDMI socket for displaying HD video content on to a compatible TV screen and the Nokia’s N8 was the very first handset to run from the newest OS of theirs – Symbian ^3.

Pantone has awarded the ‘honeysuckle’ pink 18-2120 as the colour of 2011, with this handset arriving with that version and a ‘Little Pink Diva Theme’, a pink neon clock and an ELLE fashion app that informs all of the latest fashion, beauty and celebrity news.

Nokia’s N8 pink handset will reportedly arrive with the recently announced future edition of the Symbian^3 OS, judging by the revamp icons on the mobile phone’s UI.
