Samsung Galaxy Tab arrives on supermarket shelves

An out-of-this-world tablet, with your groceries

Well-known Supermarket chain Asda has announced it is selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 32GB version, at the lowest price on the market for just £277.

Asda is offering the first Samsung Galaxy P1010 WIFI only model at this reduced cost, which now joins five different models for under £100.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab was launched at Berlin’s IFA consumer electronics show, back in September last year where the device arrives with a 7-inch TFT LCD touch screen display, running Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2 with the Samsung TouchWIZ UI.

The device is powered by the Cortex A8 1GHz application processor, with on board storage coming in the form of 32GB with a microSD slot, capable of providing an additional 32GB. Other specs of the device range from front and rear facing cameras, along with 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0.

The group discount website Groupon hit the headlines of late, by offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab on a 69-percent discount with a cost of £15 for the tablet and a £15 month tariff with T-Mobile.

Asda’s Samsung Galaxy Tab offer is available exclusively online at direct.asda.com.
