Margirus Aims New Data Centre Services At SMEs

by Michael Ide, 24 May, 2011 News

IT solutions provider Margirus has introduced a new range of its vBundle data center offering which is based on EMC’s VNX and VNXe unified storage products.

The company aims its vBundle unified data center service at small and medium sized businesses. The bundles contain network, computing and storage products from EMC, Cisco and VMware.

According to the company, the VNX based vBundles will allow data center technology resellers to offer data center tools from VMware and Cisco which are based on EMC’s unified storage platform.

Margirus claims that the new VBundles will benefit both resellers and the SMB customers. The data center bundle will not only open new revenue opportunity for resellers but will also reduce the time and cost of pre-sale activities.

The SMBs customers will be able to deploy data center and cloud computing capabilities in their IT infrastructure without incurring huge costs, by reducing the operational expenditure and energy costs.

“We have taken our channel enablement approach another step further, acting as a single point of contact across multiple vendors and technologies coupled with our integration expertise. The end result is a complete SME data centre offering with the latest benefits of EMC’s VNX/VNXe unified storage,” Denise Bryant, UK managing director at Magirus, said in a press release on Channel EMEA.

“These vBundles are competitively-priced and also allow resellers to save pre-sales resource as Magirus has already integrated the virtualisation, compute and storage elements,” he added.
