We finally reached Taipei Taiwan yesterday ahead of tomorrow's kick-off for Computex 2011 with two tasty events tonight featuring Asus and a slew of new products, and an informal Gigabyte gathering in one of the few traditional pubs in town.

The whole of Computex is still buzzing with dozens of workers who are working around the clock to get the stands decorated and assembled, the products delivered and the booth babes ready for tomorrow's big launch.

Over the next few days, we will check dozens of companies that are either trendsetters or stars in the making and will bring you regular updates of what's ticking in the world of technology from the far east.
