Joint Swedish-Japanese mobile phone manufacturer Sony Ericsson has started to deploy a new version of the Google mobile phone operating system to their flagship Xperia Arc and Play handsets, in version 2.3.3 of Android.
The updated Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3.3 brings with it a number of fixes and improvements to the existing platform; Android 2.3.2. This comes from feedback generated from customers, along with fixing issues and problems experience by those handset owners.
The new version of the existing OS delivers general software stability, a better battery performance, improved Wi-Fi stability, a more responsiveness touch experience and SE now has better HD Video recording performance within the Xperia arc.
Also built into the freshly made Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3.3 is a new Facebook feature set, which was first aired in the recently announced Xperia mini and mini pro budget mobile phones.
‘Facebook inside Xperia’ allows Play and Arc handset owners to share, like and connect to Facebook and in an easier way than currently seen on their phones. The Facebook inside Xperia features works side-by-side with Sony Ericsson TimeScape and Facebook app, where the video below highlightthe benefits.
