E3 Brings Voice Search To Xbox 360

E3 witnessed the launch of voice search with Bing on Xbox 360 which would enable users to find entertainment of their choice quickly and easily.

Bing on Xbox 360 searches through Sky and Zune along with music, video and Xbox Live Marketplace to bring to users the entertainment of their choice. With the help of the voice based search, Bing enables users to find games, movies, sports, music, TV shows and lots more.

Don Mattrick, president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business said in a press release, “This is an incredible time of growth and innovation for our business leveraging technologies that see us, hear us and connect us all together”. He added, “This year by bringing together the power of Kinect for Xbox 360 and the intelligence of Bing, we are transforming how people enjoy entertainment.”

Over the last two years, Microsoft has joined hands with major TV Operators around the world to bring live TV on Xbox. Sky TV in UK and Canal+ in France are two just giants who have joined forces with Microsoft to furnish the Live TV Services on Xbox. With the ever increasing demand and popularity, the Redmond giant has collaborated with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to bring the best in mixed martial arts to Xbox Live.

Microsoft is also working to bring YouTube to Xbox 360 and with it an expansive catalogue of movies and TV Shows which will be available on demand. Users will have the ability of control the videos through their voice, which would enhance the YouTube experience on Xbox 360.
