HP Unveils Smallest Laser Printer With Cloud Printing Technology

Hewlett Packard has launched a new compact laser printer which comes with cloud based printing technology.

The new HP LaserJet Pro 100 colour MFP M175nw, priced at $349, is the smallest multi-function laser printer with dimensions of 17x17x13.

The printer, which is targeted at home office and small and medium sized businesses come with HP technology like auto-off and instant-on that help save costs. The tray is capable of handling 150 pages at a time.

HP has fitted the compact printer with wireless networking support along with support for USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity.

The printer also comes with support for HP’s ePrint remote printing technology that allows users to give remote printing commands from their notebooks, Smartphones including those based on BlackBerry, iOS and Palm and any other mobile device.

"The M175 printer series enables SMBs to demonstrate the quality and professionalism of big companies while addressing the needs of a smaller business," said Heidrun Gross, product manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP.

"With its vivid color output, small footprint and low power consumption, the HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw will become a trusted and valuable business tool" he added.
