One has to ask what Skype and Microsoft have to get by allowing Facebook to offer a video service to its 750 million users worldwide. Some might say exposure but apart from a non clickable logo that appears while the video session is initiated, there's not much sign of a balanced deal.

Enterprise software maker Oracle has dished out the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure 3.3 platform which comes with support for Oracle Linux, which gives increased performance. The VDI 3.3 allows clients to manage and access virtual desktops running on the data centre from a centralised console.

An ex Flextronics International executive has been found guilty of leaking secret information about Apple’s iPad to a security analyst even before the device’s market debut. According to a Financial Times report, the culprit, named Walter Shimoon, is a former director of business development for Flextronics.
