O2 launches location-based vouchers

O2 has announced today a new element to its Priority scheme, by delivering exclusive offers from high street retailers such as Odeon, WH Smith and Harvey Nichols.

O2’s latest initiative falls under the name of ‘priority moments’, where 30 of the leading UK brands in over 3500 high street outlets are offering more than 40 exclusive deals to O2 customers – straight to the mobile phone.

Priority moments is a location-based voucher service that delivers money saving deals and experiences to 22 million O2 users, all across the UK with a possible saving of £105 per month to every customer.

The service runs from an Android app, an iPhone app or a mobile website, with offers relating to the locality of the O2 handset owner along with being immediately redeemable.

The mobile phone network’s voucher deal is customisable too, where no printing is necessary, nor posting or hunting around online for the best deal when it is presented straight to the handset.

Exclusive Priority Moments include half price adult tickets from Sunday to Thursday at ODEON Cinemas; an exclusively designed, complementary Harvey Nichols canvas tote bag with every purchase of fashion or beauty over £25; half price WH Smith’s ‘read of the week’, and a starter and main course for £10 or a free glass of prosecco and dough sticks at Zizzi. Other leading brands that are part of the service at launch include Toni & Guy, Yo! Sushi, French Connection, National Express, Ask Pizza, JJB Sports and Hotel Chocolat.

O2 has established long-term partnerships with these trusted brands to be able to offer this new and improved service, where the network has stated no other company in that space has the direct and loyal relationship with the customer to be able to offer this.
