At Sony's 'Christmas in July' event OMR caught a sneak peak of the upcoming dual-screen Sony codenamed ‘S2’ tablet.

We thought we would publish these images from the event, of the twin folding 5.5-inch displays, of the Android ‘Honeycomb’ 3.0 based tablet – due to arrive in the Autumn, with both WIFI and cellular abilities.

Unfortunately the device was under lock and key, where no one was allowed to touch the uniquely designed tablet, which wasn't even operational, as far as we could tell. The images below do highlight how compact the S2 really is and how the screens fold, although there’s no way to tell as yet how usable the device will be.
