Late News: Photos of ZTE Windows Phone Mango Emerge, Four in Ten Servers are Virtual, Modern Warfare 3 Preorders

The pictures of what appears to be the first ZTE Windows Phone handset have surfaced online courtesy of Dr. Luo Zhong Sheng, General Manager of Mobile Communications at ZTE, who posted it on his personal Weibo micro blogging account.

UK retailer GAME has claimed that Modern Warfare 3 is on the path of breaking all pre-order records held by its insanely successful predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. The retailer told gaming blog MCV that the pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 were significantly ahead of Black Ops, which is on to way to break all pre-order records and become Activision’s best-selling game.

Four out of every 10 servers in the web space today are not physical, a recent virtualisation study involving big businesses from all across the US, UK Germany and France claims. According to the V-Index study which brought this rather interesting fact into the light, an average of 39 percent of the servers in these countries are actually virtualised, the average number of virtual machines in a typically big organisation being approximately 470 as compared to 113 hosts.

One of the competitors to Priority Moments, the location-based service launched by O2 last week, has criticised the scheme saying that it was disappointing and basically amounted to a "marketing gimmick".

Apple has surpassed Nokia in terms of mobile advertising impressions in Europe during the second quarter of 2011. According to the report released by mobile advertising firm InMobi, Apple devices received 2 billion ad impressions in the second quarter, accounting for 19.5 per cent of the European mobile ad market, a rise of 3.3 per cent.
