The massively anticipated new offering from the Finnish mobile phone giant - the Nokia N9 could hit your nearest store on September 23rd, according to new reports.
The official Swedish website of the company has also confirmed the reports by placing a countdown clock that shows the official launch date of this new MeeGo handset to be no later than 23rd of September.
The Nokia N9 comes with a extremely good looking, super slim design and it boasts of a sophisticated 3.9 inch AMOLED display, equipped with gorilla glass coating which gives it an added layer of protection.
The handset also features an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, and it is going to be the first ever MeeGo powered handset coming from the Finnish mobile giant. There will be two variant of the handset - one with 16 GB built in storage capacity, whereas the other one will be equipped with a massive 64GB storage.
Previously, the market was filled with rumours about the N9 hitting the stores in the UK on September 15 itself.
“Nokia is expected to back up its N9 MeeGo release with the arrival of its first Windows Phone 7 touting handset just weeks later with the WP7 device to land alongside the Mango update for the Microsoft OS,” T3 wrote in its report.
