Microsoft gaming division’s ex-head, Shane Kim, has been recruited by game developing company, Zipline Games as a member of its board of directors.
According to American daily, San Francisco Chronicle, Seattle-based Zipline Games, the name behind famous mobile game development platform, Moai has announced that Shane Kim has been taken on-board as an advisory on how to expand company’s gaming platform and technology tie ups with other tech giants.
"Shane has very deep experience working with AAA development studios and a world-class online gaming service. Shane's knowledge, advice and help will be invaluable as we enhance the Moai platform and partner with more and more game studios." the chief executive of Zipline Games Todd Hooper stated. The company employees only 13 people currently.
Shane Kim who worked with Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft Corporation as the corporate vice president for its Game Studios to look over its top console titles, such as Halo, Gears of War, Fable and Forza Motorsport, said to have joined Zipline Games to help the company build its growth graph and shape its success path in the near future.
Kim has also held top position at other gaming companies including GameStop and Jambool.
