On-line retailer Clove has unveiled the cost of the upcoming tough Motorola Defy+ mobile phone, as £246 and the shipping date of late September.
The Defy+ is an update to the Motorola Mobility's first ever tough Defy handset, which was announced this week along with the news that Google has bought the company for $12.5 billion.
Motorola or Google's Defty+ arrival date and cost wasn't made public at the time of the device’s launch, only that the phone will be arriving in the fall this year.
The new arduous device will ship with almost the same feature set and dimensions as the first handset, with some overall enhancements to the inner works of the phone.
Moto's Defty+ still has the same IP67 rating of the original mobile, where it is both dust and watertight with a 3.7-inch 480x854 capacitive touch scratch resistant gorilla glass screen.
There is the introducing of a 1GHz processor on the new mobile, where the earlier model only arrived with an 800MHz variant and Android 'Éclair' 2.1 – the Defy+ ships with 'Gingerbread' 2.3.
Clove is retailing the Motorola Defy still for £234, SIM free and unlocked in the same set up as the newer model which One Mobile Ring reviewed here.
