Facebook to Hold Annual f8 Conference in San Francisco, U.S. in September

Social media juggernaut Facebook is sending out invitations to f8 - the semi-regular developer conference it organises every year, and for which it usually dishes out some of the site's most important features.

The conference is scheduled to take place on September 22 in San Francisco, U.S.

From Facebook on the f8 conference, “f8 is Facebook’s conference where developers, entrepreneurs and innovators building a more social web gather to learn, share and collaborate on social design and Facebook technologies."

The conference, which will be held at the San Francisco Design Center, has already attracted the attention of developers and entrepreneurs.

It is important to note that during the last f8 event, which took place in April, 2010, Mark Zuckerberg led team-Facebook in announcing some of its most important and popular features including the Open Graph API, as well as a handful of the site’s social widgets.

“We hope you will join us on September 22nd at the Concourse at the San Francisco Design Center for a day filled with new product announcements and deep dives into Facebook technologies,” the Facebook invitation concludes.
