Apple to Offer Refurbished Models of iPad 2 Tablet

During March of this year, Cupertino-based tech heavyweight Apple Inc. unveiled the massively popular iPad 2 Tablet. The company is now getting ready to release a refurbished versions of the tablet.

Apple currently sells new the iPad 2 Tablet online and in Apple stores throughout the US. The refurbished version will be available in the same colours as the original. And while Apple does not plan to offer refurbished versions of basic 16 GB models, the company has plans to refurbish several other models.

Refurbished 3G-enabled versions will be made available for use on AT&T or Verizon’s 3G networks. And when it comes to discounted prices, the refurbished models are about $50 cheaper than the original. This should be exciting news to anyone who was waiting to purchase a refurbished tablet.

Refurbished models vary, but include the 64GB Wi-Fi Model in multiple colours for $649, 32GB Wi-Fi+3G available in white and black for AT&T and Verizon for $679 and the 64GB Wi-Fi+3G available in white and black for AT&T and Verizon for $779, according to an iSource report.

The warranty, as well as the provision, remains the same as the original model.
