One Mobile Ring has attended a Sony Ericsson event in London, where we managed to capture images of the recently announced Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S - the updated version of the Xpera arc handset, from earlier this year.

The Xperia arc S arrives with a 4.2-inch Reality Display, with the Mobile Bravia engine and an 8.1 megapixel camera. There is also an updated 1.4 Ghz processor, which promises to deliver a 25-percent improvement on speed as compared to the current Xperia arc - in the only real hardware difference, between the two phones.

The Sony Ericsson arc S also includes Sony's 3D sweep panorama technology, where a 3D sweep panorama image can be captured and then viewed by connecting the phone to a 3D TV, using the HDMI output.

OMRs' hands-on pictures below highlight the Xperia arc S, with its sleek dimensions that match the first variant of the mobile, the pinch to arrange icons and widgets, along with the 3D panoramic image capturing.
