Noon News: Newzbin2 App to Bypass BT Block, Windows 8 Built-in Antivirus and Blue Screen of Death

Pirate website Newzbin2 has declared that it is making a new software that will allow BT customers to access it despite a court-ordered block. The Motion Pictures Association had won a ruling against Newzbin2, forcing BT to block users from accessing the website, which is said to give its members access to pirate movies and music.

In what could be termed as a pretty serious threat to the consumer antivirus market, Microsoft is reportedly planning to roll out their forthcoming operating system software Windows 8 with a built in antivirus protection shield. Microsoft is yet to confirm these reports. However, if its true, the move could spark a massive controversy between the company and the entire antivirus industry.

Earlier, it was speculated that the Windows 7 successor would be coming up with a black screen of death.

The UK advertising regulator is investigating a complaint made against Microsoft’s claims concerning its cloud computing services. According to The Register, the Advertising Standards Authority has confirmed that it was investigating a complaint made against Microsoft’s claim that it guarantee's 99.9% uptime for its cloud computing services.
