AMNews: DigiNotar Goes Bankrupt, Android Ice Cream Sandwich Launching Soon, Apple iTwin

DigiNotar, the Dutch subsidiary of Internet security company Vasco Data Security International, has filed for bankruptcy after suffering a massive hack attack. The firm, which was responsible for issuing security certificates for websites, filed for bankruptcy in a Dutch court.

Google is assisting Android Honeycomb developers in their preparations for Ice Cream Sandwich. According to reports, the Android maker is assisting developers by teaching them how to upgrade and make apps run smoothly on mobile phones.

Privacy watchdog Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has revealed that UK citizens are slowly and gradually becoming increasingly vocal about the number of spam text messages that they receive. According to a report by BBC News, ICO has obtained over 618 complaints containing unrequested marketing messages from April 2010 to April 2011.

Magisto, an Israel based startup has come up with a brand new automated video editing platform. The site claims that it can automatically edit any raw video footage submitted by users and make a short movie out of it in no time.

iTwin, which offers a USB drive that makes file sharing a breeze, has extended its offering to Apple’s Mac computers. Using the iTwin USB device, users are can transfer sensitive data and media from one computer system to another using an Internet connection.
