Groupon’s chief operating officer Margo Georgiadis has left the daily deals company after only 5 months on the job and has gone back to Google. Groupon's CEO Andrew Mason claimed that the departure was a good thing as it will allow the company to fine tune the way it functions.

Search engine giant Google has added a new feature to Google News, allowing publishers to rate high quality content for readers’ benefit. Google said that publishers will be able to mark their own news articles or news articles from any other sources as ‘standout content’.

Google has updated its Google+ for iOS bringing the app at par with the Android version of the platform. The app now allows iPhone 4 and iPod Touch users to start Huddle video conferences using the devices’ front facing camera.

Several Xbox Live users were accidentally banned from the platform, following a software error, Microsoft has admitted. The software giant has a policy of banning Xbox users who have modded their consoles from the online gaming platform.

Cupertino based technology giant Apple Inc. is planning to introduce a brand new all-in-one power and data cable for Mac and iPhone product lines. The move, according to the company, will enable users to transfer files as well as to charge these devices using the same cable between devices like iPhones and iMacs.
