Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S mobile phone now available on Vodafone
With updated features to the original arc handset
Mobile phone network Vodafone has unveiled it is now selling the updated thin Sony Ericsson arc S mobile phone, with a faster processor and new 3D camera options.
Sony Ericssonlaunched the Xperia arc S at the start of September, with the same look and a similar set of specifications to the Xperia arc – which arrived in March. On-board is updated software and a 1.4GHz processor in the new version, from a 1GHz CPU that shipped with the original Xperia arc.
Vodafone is now carrying the updated Sony Ericsson arc S, on contracts starting from £26 a month, with an accompanying 100 minutes, a 500 text message bundle, a 250MB data allowance with a further 2GB of BT OpenZone WIFI access – with the handset costing £99.
The mobile phone is also available for free, on a £31 a month price plan with 600 minutes, an unlimited text message allowance, a 500MB mobile broadband bundle with the same BT OpenZone allowance as before.
One Mobile Ring recently attended a Sony Ericsson press event in London, where we managed to capture in pictures a hands-on walkthrough of the Sony Ericsson arc S here. We also caught a video walkthrough of the handset here, which highlights the 3D still and panoramic image capture - amongst other new features.
