Apple iPhone 4S Vs. Apple iPhone 4 – in an easy to read table

Apples compared with Apples

Popular mobile phone resource GSMArena has compiled a tablet of the features to Apple's recently announced iPhone 4S mobile phone, up against those of the 2010 Apple iPhone 4 handset.

GSMArena's infographic can be seen in its entirety below, highlighting exactly the main differences between the two versions of the iPhones – for the buying public to make a clear decision, whether to upgrade or not.

The main differences between the two handsets are the faster dual-core processor and camera additions, with the new version of the iOS 5 operating system that will be made available to existing handsets soon.

It was rumoured that Apple were to announce the iPhone 5 at their press event last night, instead the company filled this year's mobile phone launch with a stop gap solution. This method has been seen before by Apple, where the mobile phone manufacturer released the iPhone 3GS in 2009 – which was almost the same device as the 2008 Apple iPhone 3G, only with a faster CPU, better camera and greater storage possibilities that has been mirrored in the iPhone 4S.
