One Mobile Ring has recently attended a press event for the launch of the successor to the Motorola Xoom tablet - the Xoom 2, where we are now publishing the differences between the two models.

The Xoom 2 arrives in two different versions, one with the same 10-inch screen size as the original device and the other with a much smaller 8.2-inch display.

Both run from a dual core 1.2GHz processor, with a 5 megapixel camera and a 1.3MP front-facing variant, with 16GB of internal storage memory - instead of the 32GB, which accompanied the first Xoom tablet.

The images below highlight the size differences between the Xoom 2 and the smaller Xoom 2 media edition in landscape mode - in which the larger model is supposed to be used; the size difference in portrait mode, where the media edition is best used; the 8.8 mm thinness of the Xoom 2 against the 8.99 mm of the 8.2-inch screen version; with the two Xoom 2s and a table of their specifications.
