Popular high-street bank Lloyds TSB has launched its first mobile banking application that has been designed to make it easier to manage money whilst on the go – on the four biggest smartphone platforms around today.
Lloyds TSB app is the first UK banking app to be launched in all four app stores simultaneously, where the free app has had more than 360,000 downloads already.
The application allows Lloyds TSB UK internet banking customers to log on to their accounts and make transactions, whilst enabling anyone who uses the software to find their nearest Lloyds TSB branch, Lloyds TSB CashPoint or really any of the 72,000 LINK ATMs belonging to any bank across the UK.
The app has features from the most commonly used aspects of Internet Banking, such as the ability to view account details and balances on personal accounts, savings and credit cards at any time.
It is also possible to check balances, see mini-statements, make transfers, pay bills and set up new payment recipients.
Certain features of Internet Banking will still only be available on the full desktop site. These are full statements; set up, change or cancel standing orders or direct debits; applying for new products; approving pending payments; changing personal details; making international payments and the money manager.
