Online retail giant Amazon has released a list of apps that people will be able to download on their Kindle Fire tablet device when it launches on November 14.
In a press release, the company informed that it had started rallying developers to make apps for the tablet device, which runs on a modified version of Android, ever since it had unveiled the device and has received a great response.
Amazon said that new Kindle Fire users will be able to download popular Android apps like Netflix, Rhapsody, Pandora, Twitter, Facebook; Comics by comiXology; The Weather Channel designed specifically for Kindle Fire, etc.
The company also said that apart from millions of movies, books and movies from Amazon, Kindle Fire will also have access to games from Zynga, EA, Gameloft, PopCap and Rovio.
