The photos of one of HTC's upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich devices have been leaked on the web.
According to PocketNow, the HTC Ville is the Taiwanese smartphone maker's slimmest smartphone till date, measuring at just 8mm in thickness.
For comparison, the iPhone 4S is 9.3mm while the Samsung Galaxy S II is 8.49mm thick. HTC Ville will be based on the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. BGR came up with the initial specs for the device, which is also said to carry the latest HTC Sense 4.0 user interface.
The device will come with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display and will be powered by the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor. HTC Ville, which is most probably a code name, will feature a powerful 8MP camera with 1080p video recording capability.
The phone won't come with NFC technology but, will feature Beats audio processing technology, which is set to become a standard on all future HTC phones.
The company is expected to launch the device in April next year, after showcasing it at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
