Microsoft Enhances Exchange 2010 with Service Pack 2

Microsoft, recently, announced Service Pack 2 for Exchange Server 2010, now available for download. Besides bug fixes there are many exciting features that have been made available with the new updates.

According to a statement by the software giant there is the "mini version of Outlook Web App" for their employees. Named as "MVOOWA", this browser based service provides very much the same functions like contacts, calendar and email and so on and so forth.

For the enterprises that are using "more than one" global address list, the latest "address book policies" is a great feature for easy setup as well as management.

According to a Microsoft, "ABPs aren't available in Office 365. As a result, if you're in a hybrid deployment, the entire address book will be visible to your users with cloud-based mailboxes", reported BetaNews.

According to Microsoft's "What's New?" doc report, for the mail administrators, "With Exchange 2010 SP2, you can enable a silent redirection when a Client Access server receives a client request that is better serviced by a Client Access server located in another Active Directory site." reported Microsoft Technet.
