Twitter Redesigns Website; Adds Three Navigation Buttons

Twitter has major redesign plans for its website. The company has also launched an updated version of Android and iPhone apps as well as updates for TweetDeck client for matching the websites new look.

The new design will roll out over the next few weeks and includes revamped user profiles and updated dashboard. Three new buttons added for navigation include Connect, Home and Discover.

The Connect button will display tweets that mention the name of the user, Home returns the user to the dashboard where all incoming tweets will be displayed and Discover will highlight the photos, stories, videos, recommendations to follow, reports Digital Trends.

The latest dashboard design will display tweets on the right hand side of the screen and will occupy less place as compared to the previous design. Also, a new tweet box will appear on the left side for the user's profile pic and list of followers, following and statistics.

These updates should make using Twitter more intuitive and fun. As the platform becomes more popular updates like this attempt to make using Twitter more enjoyable.
