American on-line mobile phone news site pocketnow.com has published an image of the Nokia Lumia 710 with a T-Mobile logo that is reportedly due to be launched at a T-Mobile event in New York City, on Wednesday December 14th.
ITProPortal.com first published news of this network tie-in with Nokia last week here, when press invites were sent out to the media for a T-Mobile joint event with the Finnish phone makers.
Pocketnow.com has noted that the handset itself has been filed with the FCC, for accreditation on running from American mobile phone networks - which was confirmed last week by The Verge technology news site.
The website adds that it's really no surprise that T-Mobile will be launching the Lumia 710, where the lower-end of Nokia's two Windows Phone 7 handsets still has plenty of appeal.
T-Mobile is said to be offering the Lumia 710 in both its black and white colour SKUs, along with the interchangeable back covers.
Nokia's 710 was announced at the same time as the Lumia flagship 800 in London, where both of them arrive with a single core 1.4GHz processor and a 3.7-inch capacitive touch screen - only the 710 has a TFT LCD display, instead of the AMOLED version in the other device.
