LogMeIn Outs Free iOS App for iPhone, iPad

LogMeIn has launched a brand new free mobile app equipped with its trademark remote desktop abilities, and aimed at the ever expanding iPhone and iPad markets.

According to the company, the new offering is quite capable of giving users almost the same sort of remote access experience which eventually made the company's earlier products win the best grossing third party iPad application award last year.

LogMeIn further bragged that the new app allows virtually any iOS users to view, access as well as control their Macs and PCs right from their iPad and iPhone.

Apparently, the new application works in sync with the company's massively popular free remote access offering dubbed LogMeIn Free, meaning users can stay connected with their remote Mac or PC virtually from anywhere with an Internet connection, and that too without any additional cost.

"Mobile devices, most notably the iPad, have given rise to an entirely new audience looking to remotely access their computer files and applications on the go," Michael Simon, president and CEO of LogMeIn said in a statement.

"By combining our mobile and free service strengths, we can bring the benefits of top-shelf remote access to virtually anyone and everyone with an iPhone or iPad," he added.
