Alcatel has released the Alcatel Blaze Duo OT-918N - an entry level dual sim (dual standby) smartphone.
The Blaze Duo OT-918N does not seem to be a stand alone offering from the company, however, as Alcatel also released its twin brother, the OT-918D as well, reports GMSArena.
Both the devices differ from one another in terms of region of availability and frequency level (for 3G spectrum). While OT-918N is based on the 850MHz/2100MHz frequency level, OT-918D exploits the 900MHz/2100MHz frequency level for 3G connectivity.
Other aspects however, remains more or less the same. Both devices sport the standard entry level features as most other devices of their class. Both OT-918-N and OT-918-D are powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS platform, and boast off a 650 MHz processor alongside 256 MB RAM.
The LCD screen (HVGA resolution) of both devices is sized at 3.2 inches. In addition, both devices sport a 3 megapixel camera at the rear, and no front facing cameras for video calling purposes.
Other standard features include the likes of Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and so on. Both devices are affordable for those looking for quality and a few extra features.
