Check Point Software Technologies has announced that its customers can now experience the same security features being offered by the company's on premise software and appliances for their respective Amazon cloud content too.
Business would be able to easily deploy Check Point's software blades such as Firewall, IPS, Content Filtering, and Application Control through the Amazon Web in few easy and simple steps.
Users can simply click on the virtual appliance by Check Point thus enabling the software blades for security. Businesses would also be able to fulfil their compliance criteria and audit requirements through unified logging and reporting.
"Infrastructure in the cloud is a reality. As many businesses plan to manage their IT infrastructure in the cloud, it's important to protect both cloud and on-premise infrastructure to ensure that all corporate assets remain secure," Oded Gonda, vice president of network security products at Check Point Software Technologies, said in a statement.
Stephen Schmidt, CISO at Amazon Web Services, said "We offer a shared-responsibility security model that enables customers to choose a security solution that best meets their application's needs, while AWS remains focused on providing a safe and secure infrastructure."
