Late News: CES 2012 Update - Lenovo 55-inch Android Powered TV, Lenovo IdeaTab S2, AcerCloud

Lenovo is all set to make a grand entry into Television market with the very first TV set powered by Google 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Named as Lenovo K91 Smart TV, this Ice Cream Sandwich TV will be released first in China followed by other countries.

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas, Chinese PC maker Lenovo has unveiled the IdeaTab S2 tablet/laptop. The device is expected to hit the market worldwide in the second quarter of this year and will be a rival product of Asus Transformer Prime.

Computer maker Acer has dished out the AcerCloud cloud computing platform for the company's laptop and tablet devices. According to Mashable, the company revealed the AcerCloud platform at the Consumer Electronics Show being held in Las Vegas.

Microsoft has released a statement that categorically denies security of the Xbox Live Arcade platform has been compromised - though it did admit that customer support could be improved.

Sony has denied rumours that when current Sony president and CEO Howard Stringer relaxes his responsibilities, executive deputy president Kazuo Hirai would be taking up the mantle. It was initially reported that Hirai would receive the promotion by as early as April, though now it's believed the Japanese electronics firm is still looking for someone to take on the president mantle.
