iPhone and iPad owners now have an extra reason to integrate their iOS devices into their work as well as their leisure time.
Ion Audio, the company that introduced retro gaming to iPad in the form of a mini arcade system (and just a few days ago iPhone owners got their own iCade), has now come out with a couple of fresh gadgets.
iPics2Go is a "mini photo booth" which is capable of scanning hard copy pictures and converting them to digital files. The gadget uses the iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 camera to capture printed photographs, old family slides or negatives. It also comes with a specially designed app that converts negatives into sharable images and also allows users to edit their pictures.
Ion Audio has also come up with a similar device, though this time for iPad users, called Docs2Go. The accessory lets you scan documents or photos using your iPad's camera and instantly view them on the screen or save them as a digital file.
The portable scanner can handle documents up to A4 in size and has a 300 dpi resolution. With a sleek cylindrical form, the gadget is compact and portable, easily fitting in a bag.
