Sharp revealed the 80 inch touchscreen TV set AQUOS Board for Office. This launch is an attempt to do away with the whiteboard and it is an alternative for office projectors. Sharp AQUOS Board is a range of work centric wide scale touchscreen TV sets.
AQUOS Board's announcement came at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 to mark the occasion of 100th year of Sharp as a company. The business optimised televisions of AQUOS Board will boasts of 1080p Full HD resolution and will replace whiteboards and projectors in near future.
Doug Albregts, Sharp's US President, "With AQUOS Board users can draw, take notes and even connect to a printer."
Albregts added, "The AQUOS Board is poised to change the way we work. The workplace possibilities for the AQUOS Board are endless." reported T3. The company has confirmed that AQUOS Board television sets will be available in 60 inch, 70 inch and massive 80 inch versions and all the three versions have dual touch capabilities.
The device comes with a stylus style pen to control the television set. User can even control the device with his hands. Sharp has partnered with Microsoft to run the AQUOS Board with Windows.
